Federally Funded NIST (Department of Commerce) B245 Modernization Design-Build Project ($480M), Gaithersburg, Maryland, As the owner’s representative through iPS Corporation PC and Parsons Corporation, provided construction management support, led change order management, and supported quality assurance as well as RFI/Submittal review and management. Grants for Consultancy Projects, Overseas, As a consultant and then Executive Director of Afghan Transportation Engineering Center/Engineering Partnership Research and Service Organization (Established by Kansas State University in Partnership with Kabul University), led and successfully completed several projects including Traffic Data Collection and Flow Analysis for Kabul city. (2015-16 & 2020-22)
Multi-Source Funded Capital Infrastructure Projects (+500M), Overseas, As the Project Executive at Kabul Municipality, successfully completed more than 50 small to large-scale capital infrastructure projects including roads and bridges in Kabul, Afghanistan. (2016-19)
INDOT Funded R&D Project, West Lafayette, Indiana, As a Research Assistant and Fulbright Scholar, contributed to the Evaluation of Alternative Intersections (roundabouts) and Interchanges (DDIs), a project funded by Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) and implemented by Center for Road Safety/JTRP/Purdue University. US Government Funded Design-Build Highway Projects (+$100M), Overseas, As the subcontractor for DORA Construction Company, provided design for approximately 100km of roads for southern and eastern Afghanistan, a program funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and administered by International Relief and Development Inc. (IRD). (2009-12)
US Army Corps of Engineers, AED, Design-Build Military Complex and Highway Projects (+$500M), As a Civil Engineer and Highway Designer at Technologists Inc. (Ti), provided civil site design and highway design for several projects including two highways in Afghanistan. (2007-09)
US Government Funded Highway Projects, Overseas, As a Civil Engineering Intern with Louis Berger Group Inc. (LBGI), assisted senior engineers with construction supervision and quality assurance for two highway projects in Afghanistan. (2005)
